Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is mainly about the different ways of evaluating and tracking student progress. There are many different types of assessments but placement tests, diagnostic tests, progress and practice tests were the focus of this unit. I think it is vital for teachers to know where their students stand as far as academics. Assessments are necessary in order to facilitate affective lessons. In this unit i learned the importance of what equipment to use when teaching my students so they learn the most effectively. Different equipment and teaching aids provide different ways of learning which will be very useful to know when attempting to teach my classes certain lessons. These various techniques make lessons more interesting and offer students a more exciting way to learn.
