Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned a lot more about Engaging, Studying, and Activating a student's knowledge. I have used some of these techniques before but it gave me ideas for my future lessons. It showed me several new games to play such as anagrams and word linking, which are great ideas. Next it showed me new ways of teaching such as the boomerang and patchwork lessons. Overall it was a useful unit, and I learned a lot. This unit was useful, if not basic in nature, but gave a good oversight in what makes a good teacher, a good student and the relationship between. The various roles of a teacher were made clear, some were common sense, but essential. The language level breakdown makes for a good starting point when choosing what activities could be planned for future classes. I will definitely be reviewing this unit again.
