Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Throughout this unit, I reviewed some phonology and phonetic transcription. I mostly learned how to transcribe and read words and sounds phonetically. I learned about the different sounds and their location within the mouth, I can now apply that to teaching and working on pronunciation. Overall, this was the most helpful unit I have read thus far and I found the material extremely helpful. This unit was based on productive skills such as writing and listening. These skills are also very important to children in learning. Teaching productive skills helps to develop students grammar, penmanship etc. fun games are also included in helping teachers and students to learn and teach productive skills efficiently. This unit also gives techniques for teachers to encourage interaction.
