We are English Steps, a small school based in Leeds, England running year-round classes. However, in the summer we are much busier relatively speaking, and require 2-3 passionate and enthusiastic TEFL qualified teachers to join our small team.

We try and care more about lessons and student welfare as our foundations, and hope that the business side of things flows from that - so if that sounds good to you then please contact us. Our courses are for adults only.

We have positions including accommodation available, and also positions for teachers already based in Leeds.

Preferably, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent qualified, with experience.

How to apply:

Email us at the address given on the job heading with your CV and a bit about yourself.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson required me to read slowly ad really pay attention. t is easy to get confused with the different forms of present tense and this was an eye-opener to how kids learn it. I understand how it has to be taught, now that I see the challenges of remembering each form. It is important to fully understand the different forms of present tense, so that I can create an effective lesson plan. This unit talked about the various usages and forms of the future tense. It's very helpful to know this so that we can better teach English Language Learners. We often don't think about the differences between these forms, especially similar ones such as \"will\" and \"going to\". If we can understand the difference in usage ourselves, we can better teach these grammar points to our students.
