5 Important Areas of Life Where Grammar is Vital
Grammar can be defined as the study of the classes of words, their inflections and their functions and relations in the sentence (see Merriam Webster) or grammar is a linguistic tool that determines the rules for presenting sentences correctly. It involves a number of related sub-fields including syntax, phonetics, morphology, and semantics. That is to say, grammar is the system of the language and is the rules that make it possible for us to talk about language. Grammar names the types of words and word groups which could make up sentences not only in English but in any other language. As human beings, we can all do with grammar, even as children. But it is not everybody who is able to talk about how sentences are built, about the types of words and word groups that make up sentences, namely who knows about grammar.

Grammar is very crucial and useful in every aspect of life as outlined below:
Nowadays, language ability is one of the most important parameters in job application. In order to demonstrate your professionalism when applying for a job, your expression, for example during the interview, should be very logical, clear, and with rigorous grammar. Correct grammar will offer an edge in a job interview, which won't be so obvious as to cause a separation from the masses in casual conversation. In addition, it also helps for professional communication like having a conversation at the workplace with other employees or managers. From persuasive papers to resumes, grammatical errors immediately take away the intended strength necessary and acquire an ally on an issue or an invitation for a job interview. Grammatical inconsistencies, otherwise, will make influential words less effective.
It is useful in daily life when talking to friends as well. If your spoken grammar with friends is in a mess, nobody will consider you educated deserving of respect and trust. To some extent, friendship is judged and decided from different aspects. Moreover, they are equally vital at home where kids learn their grammatical patterns from their parents and families. It will put the next generation at an immediate disadvantage without learning correctly.
In the academic world when writing essays and talking in the class grammar plays a vital role. In addition, if continuing education is desired, grammatically correct papers will be expected from college professors.
Grammar rules are important and indispensable in effectively giving direction and providing assurance of leadership ability if you want to be an effective leader. Moreover, giving speeches, communications with domestic people or diplomatic personnel and so on all definitely need good grammatical knowledge.
Schools and universities are the places to teach and learn grammar, not only the mother tone but a second or third language. For example, as an international language, English is requirement in schools and universities around the world. When you are learning English as a second language, grammar is a must in order to study, write and speak effectively and persuasively in English. Obviously proper grammar is also vital for understanding English as well as for learning a new language, since all languages follow grammatical patterns.
In conclusion, correct grammar shows that everyone knows how to communicate well and people understand what he/she is saying. It is not used for segregation, or to create a gap in the social world, but a tool to open doors by being heard and understood more clearly, and a valuable tool for success in many aspects of life.
