In the world, there are many different professions that people dream of. If you ask someone to name some of them, they probably would say something like a doctor, teacher, singer, and so on. When I was a child, my dad wanted me to become a teacher. He thought that becoming a teacher was a great job. Not just him, but many other people also thought so. It has always been like that. Back then, I was too young to understand the reason. But now that I have become a teacher, I am starting to realize why my dad and everyone else liked it.

Stories are a powerful tool for engaging students in learning. Stories are capable of meeting young learners at their level by making language concepts engaging and interesting. They provide the sort of context and emotional stakes that are important for thorough language acquisition in a subtle way that doesn't always feel like sitting at a desk and learning through drills. This is why stories are an especially important tool when it comes to teaching young learners. Stories can provide motivation to learn, real-life examples of language usage, and an out-of-classroom opportunity to continue learning.

Children are not born with a set vocabulary, yet it is something that they can acquire and build within themselves. Montessori stated, "The baby absorbs speech it hears spoken around it and with it says a word it says it because it has learned it by hearing it, and holds it present in the memory. It uses it according to its need of the moment". Young children behave similarly. When children absorb language, they become better equipped to articulate thoughts and experiences. Children can express themselves more clearly. Precise language can render children independent in their ability to express their needs and emotions. In the early years of a child's development, the child must be exposed to rich language, this is a vocabulary that is precise and... [Read more]

Educating children is one of the most challenging and rewarding roles. Children are usually illustrated as a bath sponge when it comes to absorbing language input. They could learn easily learn a language without much force at a young age. As teachers or educators, we need to be able to nurture them to have a positive mind and become an independent individual in the future. A child's future would largely depend on the education they receive when they are young. Thus, it is a teacher's role to mold children by giving the best education in a positive direction at a young age.

Third, it is vital to develop a rapport and relationship with your students.
