Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Much of this unit concentrated on preparing for and getting a job in teaching business English. The author emphasized writing a cover letter, having a proper CV/resume, being aware of what to ask in a job interview and knowing about the country in which a job is offered. The end of the chapter also provided resources on professional organizations, further testing and educational resources and reference materials. This is a fairly common sensical unit which reminds teachers of the appropriate way to select materials for receptive reading and listening skills ie. get a balance between authentic and teaching materials for more advanced learners, do not use authentic materials with beginners, pre teach more difficult vocabulary and sentence structures but only those that are essential to understanding the general meaning etc.
