Lesson planning is a question under discussion among teachers,but in fact for inexperienced teacher a planned lesson can be very helpful. Since any plan has to be flexible it's better to have some structure and to keep ready all necessary materials, hand outs, records etc for a lesson. Records of the lesson will help not only in organising the current lecture but to follow up and delegate the tasks for colleagues in case of illness.This unit section was very insightful on how to be a great teacher and care for your students to ensure that they have a great learning experience. Throughout the unit I learned the key components of a great teacher which is being kind and patient, having the ability to motivate my learners, correcting my students in a manner that is motivating and not offensive as well as keeping my classroom environment as lively and entertaining.
