Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This final unit brings up some of the issues we might face while teaching in different countries. Different countries have different culture and social norms and we need to learn to be sensitive to them and not be offensive or obtrusive. With regards to Professional Development, this unit gives some recommendations like a Diploma or a Masters and provides a webliography of contacts for different functions. Useful information indeed! From this lesson I have learnt that there is a lot to take into account when it comes to preparing a lesson. I need to keep my lesson plan simple. I need to have structure in my lesson but not make it overly ridged. The obvious need to be organized was highlighted. Present Perfect simple exercises are good to highlight previous actions that passed. I will definitely review this lesson again, To get a deeper understanding of the unit
