Leeds Academy, in Istanbul Turkey, have planned some summer camps for private schools and are looking for TEFL qualified native English speaking teachers to teach English to students ages ranging from 6 to 16. Each summer camp will be 10 days long and include 50 hours of teaching. All the transportation in Turkey, meals and the accommodation will be covered by the schools. Pay dependant on qualifications and experience.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit I found very interesting as it made me stop and question how we phrase sentences with the subtle nuances of the English language. In particular I found it fascinating that stressing one word in a sentence can completely affect how we understand the meaning of the sentence. The phonetic script was very useful and beneficial for my learning about how in any accent which letter sounds stay the same.A good teacher should be able aware of the culture of that particular country and understand some of history of the country. This helps the teacher to connect better and the students can easily trust him or her thereby getting motivated. Should understand that different levels of English learners need different approaches. Spontaneity is encouraged. A good teacher should prepare lesson plans before class.
