Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I thought that this was a good lesson into grammar and sentence structure, and was a good point to build off of the other lessons that taught different tenses of verbs, how they are used, and how the sentence is broken down into it's structure. I think that the sentence structures for English could be a bit confusing to new learners of the language because there are so many different ways to say the same thing in English. This unit describes conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals change the tense and verb conjugation based on their type, using 'if' in order to communicate possibilities and hypothetical situations. The kinds of conditionals are zero, first, second, third, and mixed. Reported speech, likewise, changes according to the tense of the direct speech. Several activities include media reporting and playing 'intermediaries.'
