Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provided information on conditionals and reported speech. It was a little more difficult to understand how to teach students because it will be very confusing for them because often times they will get mixed up. There are five types of conditionals. Also, each conditional has its own set of rules. The most important thing that I have learned is to teach this slowly and thoroughly. This unit is mainly about the future tenses, including future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous,'be going to', present simple and present continuous. Form, usages, typical student errors/mistakes and teaching ideas are discussed in each part tense section. 'Be going to' and present continuous with future meaning have the most frequent usages in daily life.
