Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Form Unit two we get through grammar topic parts of the speech. This topic is basic but very important because it gives us understanding of the usage of different parts of the speech in a sentence. It is very important to use words correctly and in the right order and in the right form, especially for the teacher. Knowing this topic already gives you an opportunity to make extended and grammatically correct sentences. The information contained in this section, specifically the difference between receptive and productive skills and the different motivation types, were very interesting and helpful. When teaching these skills it is good to keep in mind that topics should be varied and of interest to the students so that they will be motivated not only because they want to learn language, but also because they enjoy the content matter.
