This unit was nice to read through, most of the content sounded very familiar, as I have had experience as a teacher or classes coordinator. I didn't always teach English, though, which means the group, their motivation and background might be very different. There were a few good hints about dealing with reluctant students - this is not an easy aspect of teaching. I would like to learn even more about that. This lesson highlighted that creativity and discretion need to be used at all times when developing lessons. I think it will be interesting to see what type of curriculum the school provides and how I can expand upon that and interject what I think would result in the best learning outcomes for my students. This lesson made me excited to try to conjure up my own collection of appropriate authentic materials.
