In this unit I have learnt about modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice, relative clauses and phrasal verbs. The uses of auxiliary verbs with examples were shown. After that, the passive voice, its form, uses and teaching ideas were explained. I have also learnt that there are 2 types of relative clauses – independent and dependent. At the end I have learnt about phrasal verbs and that there are 3 types of phrasal verbs. In this section, I learned the different ways and means in which I can teach various groups of English students. These ways can vary tremendously due to the need of the students. For example, I would not teach children the same way I would teach bankers trying to understand business English. This section gave me a good understanding of the different ways in which I can best form the class around the type of student present.
