Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered the teaching and improvement of productive skills in the classroom. Again, topics should be chosen that are of interest to the students. Activities should be chosen based on wether accuracy or fluency is to be stressed. Written errors should be addressed individually to avoid isolating a student or undermining their confidence. In my case, spell check doesn't work for English on a Vietnamese keyboard. ;)Unit five is a real boon for novice teachers. As the young teacher does not have much teaching experience, or lack thereof, the teacher may be hard to take over the class, or to understand how to handle a situation that got out of control. As for me, I have learned a lot of interesting and new information, such as how to seat the children in a class for more productive studying, how to find the right approach to students.
