Inlingua-Ciudad Real is the largest private academy in the capital city of the province of Ciudad Real (Castilla La-Mancha). We have been teaching in the local area since 2009 and have grown with our reputation. Our speciality is in teaching young learners from 3 years old, and also run general English courses for teenagers and adults. We are looking for an EFL teacher to work in a well-established language school with more than 500 students where our emphasis is on a communicative approach to language learning.
We offer our teachers teacher training (all in-house) and provide a professional service for our students.
The ideal candidate should be a dynamic teacher, to form part of a friendly enthusiastic team teaching very young learners and adults. Storytelling, songs, and games are an important element to all our kids’ classes and we adopt a communicative approach to all our classes. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, starting at 4pm with the possibility of working in the morning.
We need a teacher who loves teaching children, who is prepared to sing songs, play games and tell stories. For our young learner classes we don’t use coursebooks but use storytelling instead as the core element of our syllabus. We need a teacher who has experience teaching young children and can relate to them well.
We mainly teach children and teenagers up to university leaving age and we prepare students for the Cambridge exams (PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE). We are an official Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre. Teen students have coursebooks in the classroom and we have the capability to use digital devices in all of the classrooms.
REQUIREMENTS:
TEFL or TESOL qualification is a minimum, with teaching experience. We are looking for a teacher with as much classroom experience as possible.

The right personality for teaching very Young Learners is the most important qualification as we are looking for someone who loves teaching children. We would like to work with an energetic teacher who loves singing and dancing with the kids, someone who loves doing art and craft activities and telling stories, using puppets, toys, magic and wonder to engage the children in English language activities. We use phonics stories, board games and other picture books in order to introduce language in class instead of EFL coursebooks with our very young learners.
