Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Inn this unit i learnt the importànce of tests in the role of teaching and development of students. Tests help the teacher evaluate the ability of individual students at the beggining as in placement tests which can determine the class level for the individual. Diagnostic tests to evaluate the level of the class. Progress tests so that student progress can be monitored and practice tests to prepare students for external tests.Unit 9 shows flexible methods of Lesson Planning, including diagrams of Lesson Plans, a Self Evaluation Form and questionnaires. What I found to be the most important and most emphasized part of this lesson, is that a teacher needs to be Very Flexible. Be open to changing your plan according to what is helping the students the most. Spend more time on the areas that they are doing well in and which they find the most interesting.
