Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This section gives suggestions on how to manage classrooms in reasonable and effective ways. Gesture, voice, eye contact, and the use of students' names all contribute to how a teacher manages and communicates with their students. It is important to be aware of all contextual effects enacted on the students in order to provide them with the right classroom set up and meaningful student talking time. This unit was all about future tenses and the ways in which we can teach them, explain, and use them in the classroom. The verbs in English are all easy if you've been speaking it for years but explaining them to second language learners can be hard, and this chapter was able to define, introduce, and give ways to explain how all of the future verb tenses worked so language learners can understand.
