Lincoln English Center in Los Reyes de Salgado, Michoacán, has an opportunity for a TEFL qualified teacher starting in August of this year. We offer a 6 month contract teaching around 6 hours per day in mornings and evenings. Students ages range from child to adult with abilities varying between basic and advanced level English. Applicants should already have some teaching experience and be able to arrive in Mexico with original teaching certificates. Benefits include a salary of $2,400 Mexican pesos every two weeks to start.

I have learned that there is so much more than just speaking English as a first language, and that certain rules apply to speak and write correctly. These rules are used to help explain English to those of foreign language. Grammar names the types of word groups and words that make up sentences. I have learnt all the grammar rules from the basics and in detail. The information provided was very helpful.This unit is about the evaluation and testing of students. I have learned about the most common types of tests that take place such as placement tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests and external examinations. Some examples of external examinations are TOEFL, IELTS and TOEIC and the unit also covers information about tests provided by the Cambridge Assessment (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE).
