Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit XI was focused on teaching lessons concerning receptive skills, ie. reading and listening. Not only did it discuss the importance and teaching mechanisms, but also predicted potential problems and ways to deal with them before they occur. The most interesting aspect of this unit was the example lesson utilizing Elvis as the interesting context to promote motivation and attention. Thanks to Unit 8 we are now able to use and teach all the English tenses. In this lesson, we have learned the differences between Present tense and Going to Future tense. We also learned the future simple, future continuous, future perfec, future perfect continuous and Present continuous with future meaning. All the usages, common mistakes/errors and good teaching exemplified lessons.
