We are looking for a TEFL qualified British / Irish* ESL teacher with a driver’s license and the willingness to work with students of all levels and age ranges. This is for a well-respected school in the Italian Alps, in a city called Arona. Arona is a resort town on beautiful Lago Maggiore - about 30 minutes by train from Milan.

Working hours vary by day, but total about 25 hours per week. There are several other international teachers at the school and a good environment for sharing materials and supporting each other.

This is a contract job from March to July and includes affordable accommodation in town.

To apply, please email your CV to the address given on the job heading with a brief covering note detailing your availability.

* We will also accept people with Italian Working Holiday visas.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covers aspects of learning present tenses. Breaking it apart and categorizing it into four parts of the tenses made it clearer for the reader to understand. The forms were explained well enough to be understood as well. The examples were sufficient typical student errors were given as well. Different kinds of ideas and activities relating to the tenses were given to give the teacher a starting point. This unit explained how to deliver new vocabulary, grammar, and other language concepts effectively in the classroom. What I feel that I've learned from it is that we need a criterion to consider on selecting vocabulary items and that there are things that students need to know about vocabulary and grammatical structures. It also gave me good examples of lessons and ideas on using the different ESA structures.
