There are different ways of reading/listening . One can read/listen by predicting what will be said based on introductory words or headlines, by skimming to get the gist of the content, scanning for specific content, poring in detail on important content and by deducing based on context. As a teacher, one should pick reading content that is interesting, but not too advanced to fly over students' heads. In this unit, teaching equipment are explained. The most common resources are: white/black board, interactive whiteboard (IWB), overhead projector (OPH), visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorder, CD player, videos/DVDs, video camera, dictionaries, course books, computer and online resources. Some examples are given to dictionaries and online resources which offer audio and video content.
