Nanjing Normal University of Technology is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties in history. It is a key university of Jiangsu Province and one of the 211 Project institutions. Its history can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School established in 1902. It was then operated under a series of names including Liangjiang Excellent Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, Southeast University, Central University, and Nanjing University. Another source came from Huiwen institute set up in 1888, which developed into the private Jinling University, merged Jinling Women's College of Arts and Sciences (once under the name of the Private Jinling Women's University) and became the National Jinling University. In 1952 when the Chinese institutions of higher learning underwent a nationwide reorganization, Nanjing Teachers College came into being with departments from Nanjing University, Jinling University and a number of other institutions. It became Nanjing Normal University in January, 1984, and merged Nanjing Advanced College of Dynamics in March, 2000. The university provides programs in various areas such as liberal arts, history, philosophy, education, science, engineering, economics, law and public administration. Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Within the unit, I was able to pick up on the basics of teaching another language. The unit covers basic information about how to plan lessons about the new language and gives the reader a few examples that would be useful when creating lesson plans. The unit also has many suggestions, for when using any ESA structure, such as activities to do within each stage and how to incorporate the lesson into each activity. When teaching Vocabulary it is very important that the audience understands the meaning/usage of the words. Visual aids are a great tool to promote understanding, especially for young learners. We can learn grammar through gap filling, which I feel is more appropriate for more advance students. It is quite apparent that the Engage/Study or Engage/activate needs to be followed to have a more structured class lesson
