Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit about receptive skills, reading and listening, was helpful and gave much more confidence. Descriptions and general information about receptive skills were interesting and gave me ideas on how to better structure future lessons. I perfectly agree when it says that the topic has to be interesting for the students and that the language of a text or an audio must be tailored to student’s level of English.Unit 2 gave me more insight into nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions etc. I have learnt the differences between certain words and what part of speech they belong to, where adverbs belong in a sentence and the definition of a 'gerund' (which before the unit I have never heard of before). This unit gave me further understanding of 'Parts of Speech' in which I had limited knowledge of before.
