The campus is only twenty minutes to the Thai-Malaysian border, which is not very far from the Island of Phuket and the township of Haadyai in Southern Thailand. On the West lies a group of 104 island in Langkawi, which offers one of the best snorkelling and scuba diving sites in the region. Township of Changlun, which is the northern most urban center on the Malaysian North-South Highway, offers a life that is probably the cheapest in comparison with other towns. The housing in the vicinity of UUM is also probably one of the cheapest in the country. Changlun is a typical multicultural character of Malaysian town with a mosque, a church, a Hindu temple and a Chinese temple, altogether within a 2sq. km urban settlement. UUM is highly accessible to Changlun, to the airport, to Kuala Lumpur, to Alor Setar via regular taxis and inter-stat! e bus services. Shopping can be done in Danok, Bukit Kayu Hitam that is about 10km away, besides the local shopping outlets, which include a weekly market held on Wednesdays. Jungle trekking and nature studies in the adjacent virgin forest areas are probably one of the most exciting outdoor leisure activities in UUM. The University has its own golf course, lake garden for those who like rowing kayaks, a deer farm, an orchid and a large, over 50 acres fruit orchard.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned about how we teachers should plan our lessons. How it should be written down, for example Keep it simple, flexible etc. I have known that learner objectives is what you want the student to be able to do at the end of the lesson. I also saw an example of a lesson plan in this chapter and I learned a lot from the sample.I have reviewed present perfect simple tense/ Present perfect/ Possibilities (might/may) in this Chapter.Productive skills are important in learning a new language. Most of the time, teacher and student focus more on speaking skill as it it less time consuming than practicing writing skill,. A great amount of self learning and self discipline require for student to practice writing on their own. However, teacher can always help in setting more writing homework and going through them as a class to motivate students to write more accurately.
