Date posted:2010-05-06 | Writer: Australian Centre for Education | Email: [email protected]

Exciting Teaching opportunities exist for fully-qualified (first degree and TEFL or equivalent), native-English speaking teachers and senior teachers at ACE Phnom Penh, Cambodia. ACE is opening a second centre in Phnom Penh in late July and both centres are recruiting now. Experienced EAP and IELTS teachers are especially encouraged to apply.

Please email your CV to the e-mail address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit many of the English based exams were explored. I learned about the ESOL and the many different opportunities of these types of exams. It would be beneficial for my students to be well-versed in these exams, and the resources available to further their use of the English language. I will create a hand-out for my students to review these exams, the meaning of each, and the available resources.Course books can be very useful to teachers, but they should not be used as a crutch. Often, teachers would be best served by omitting, adapting, or supplementing the material in a course book. In all cases, teachers should be thinking critically about whether a particular course book will be appropriate and useful for the teacher's students, and the teachers should ideally look at a range of course books.
