TEFL Courses in Seville, Spain
Seville is a great place to take a TEFL course. It is the capital and largest city in the region of Andalusia in the South of Spain. It is also one of the largest historical centers in Europe. Throughout the narrow streets and main avenues - in fact, virtually everywhere, you cast your eye, there are magnificent monuments and buildings, which stand as a legacy to this city's fascinating heritage. There is the minaret of La Giralda, the cathedral (one of the largest in Christendom), and the Alcázar Palace.
Seville is quite possibly one of Europe's most beautiful and exuberant cities and is universally famous for being a joyous town. While the Sevillians are known for their wit and sparkle, the city itself is striking for its vitality - it takes a stony heart not to be captivated by its exuberant atmosphere - stylish, confident, ancient, proud, yet also convivial, intimate and fun-loving.
Sevillians love their food, especially Tapas which the city is credited with the invention of, and has more than a thousand bars where the choice of food is virtually unlimited, from seafood to ham and sausage, and from vegetable to cheese. Tapas make a pleasant change to a normal traditional meal and Sevillians like to move from bar to bar and trying one dish at a time.
The surrounding areas of Seville are within easy reach and well worth a visit. The beautifully preserved town of Carmona (24 miles east of Seville) is one of Spain’s oldest and a gorgeous, refined hub of boutiques and first-rate restaurants. The impressive mosaics and amphitheatre of Italica once the third-largest city in the Roman Empire are five miles north of Seville. The city rose to prominence during the reign of Hadrian in the second century AD and boasted a population of half a million
