Irina took our 120-hour TEFL course to enhance her professional portfolio. She is working as an English teacher in Russia and is able to use the learned techniques in her classroom to improve her teaching style.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I've learnt that different classroom layouts suit different purposes when teaching a class, and that there are many ways to balance TTT and STT, while also building rapport between yourself and the students. My own thoughts of how to conduct oneself when it comes to problem behaviors has only been reaffirmed by this unit, however the explanation on eye contact was quite intriguing. There are four basic skills that students need to learn in any language. This unit focused on two of those four skills which are the receptive skills namely the reading and listening skills. Often times, these are the 2 skills that are a bit easier to learn than the other two. Even so, we still need to take note on the student's understanding and process of learning of these skills
