Do I need a TEFL certificate to teach abroad?

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit was packed with teaching guidance and information. I'm not entirely sure I would use all the methods I learned, but it is valuable to know all the various options for all the different study phases. I appreciate the suggestions for lesson planning and interactions with students. I think I will refer to the information in this unit often during my future lesson planning. In this unit I saw how much a teacher?s attitude truly impacted the way a student reacts to the lesson. The teacher in the first example made the students feel as if they were uneducated if they didn't understand the lesson before he explained it. The teacher in example two gave them a unique lesson that taught them the vocabulary in a way that was interesting an intriguing.
