episodes on there so i highly recommend checking that out um yeah so
let's have a chat let's get right into it i'm here to answer all your questions so like i said i am
based in south korea um i've been here about five and a half
years and um yeah i've before that i taught english in china
um and yeah i also taught english in south korea to children adults
all different kinds of english classes um yeah and all the good stuff so i hope
i'll be able to answer some of your most burning questions about teaching english abroad and
teaching in general and tefl and tesol and all that good stuff so um that's we're gonna do today
and i see there's quite a lot of questions coming in on instagram and i need to check that out i'm sorry
uh it's a little far away but yeah so one of the questions was is your institution recognized
internationally so yes itttt's teflon tesol certificates
are all internationally recognized and accredited um valid forever they do not expire
they're valid worldwide so with this certification you can apply for teaching jobs around
the world um but just note that you know different countries have different regulations
different laws um so some countries for example in south
korea it's a little bit more difficult they tend to only hire native english speakers
speakers from speakers from countries where english is the first language
so um you need to be from one of those countries in order to qualify for the work visa
but other countries do not have those regulations so it always also depends on your own
background and your skill set and your qualifications but yes all itt teflon tesol courses are
worldwide accredited all yes then there was one more question
on instagram is the 120 hour course really worth for worth it for non-native english
teachers yes i think it's worth it especially for non-native english teachers actually
um unfortunately there is still a lot of you know prejudice or stigma around
non-native english teachers and so you as a non-native english teacher you
really want to get the best possible foundation for your resume so that means having a tefl or tesol
qualification uh maybe even get some english language proficiency certification so like an ielts
or toeic or things like that um there's also specialization
courses that you can get as a non-native english speaker if you want to teach english
abroad so definitely and the 120 hour course
is basically like the minimum standard course that you want to get uh
because most countries have this minimum of 100 hours of tefl certification
that they require so that's the minimum you want to get 100 hours
so 120 hours that's sort of the standard internationally at the moment
all right okay let me answer a question over here on facebook
from tiana my heart is set on south korea what cities would you recommend to teach
in outside of seoul and busan okay so with south korea it's actually a really
really uh small country so i'm sort of in the middle of south korea my
city and it's only an hour and a half from seoul um so kind of wherever you are in south
korea you're always close to you know either seoul or busan
or dejan one of like the bigger cities so it doesn't really matter obviously a
lot of people go to seoul because it's seoul they want to be in the big city but um
[Music] you know it always depends on what you're looking for
also you know are you looking for a very authentic korean experience then maybe you should
choose a smaller city in korea where they maybe don't speak english that much
and then you're you know you need to really learn korean and you're you really get
to embrace korean culture or you want to be in a more international place then you can go to
seoul and where a lot of play a lot of people speak english and you find a lot of international
like a big expat community uh international restaurants and stuff like that so it always depends you know what
you're looking for but um a couple of good cities or like uh
really interesting cities that i like in korea are well definitely seoul busan i really
like junju where the hanok village is i really like gyeongju there is a lot of history there
um then in the south you have places like um yosu
and tongyeong those are really pretty they're like on the coast very nice um yeah you also just
mentioned incheon inchon is also nice incheon is quite north so it might be a little bit
difficult to get around like to other places might be far away if you want to go to busan or
you kind of always have to go through seoul but incheon is also good especially if you want to travel you
have the airport right there so yeah definitely a lot of good cities in korea
so don't worry and even you know you you find a school you spend a year there
then after that you can change and move on to a different city so all right we have a question over
here on instagram how does one start looking for work after completing the 120 hour course
okay great question so at itt we offer lifetime job support
to all itt course graduates so when you complete your course
you actually immediately receive a pdf version of your certificate and then you can
start applying so we work with a lot of different recruitment companies and schools
worldwide that we partnered up with and you will receive sort of a
info package after you complete the course with all those um details and connections
so you can apply and contact our partners for jobs we also have a very very big and
up-to-date job section that you can always refer to with current jobs and
um yeah even if you don't want to start right away working um even if you you get your
tefl certification and then you're like oh you know i want to wait a little bit and start teaching in a few years
then you can hit us up again you can contact us and be like hey i'm ready for teaching
and you still qualify for the job support so that's uh one of the ways and then
obviously you can also do your your own search job search online
or contact recruitment agencies if you know like what kind of what country or what region you want to work
in you can do that as well all right awesome yeah
very very welcome so let me ask you guys a question
uh which country would you like to teach english in i'm very curious about that
which country would you like to teach english in or would you like to teach english online
let me know in the comments i'm always curious to hear that where people want to go and
teach so which country would you like to teach english in
where we still have quite a lot of people joining everywhere saying hello hello
hello thanks so much for joining so the question is which country would you like
to teach english in and why or would you like to teach english online
please let me know please let me know all right
irma says thailand yes great okay we have somebody who wants to work
in thailand uh tatiana says i'd like to work in peru
awesome peru that's awesome i would really love to go to peru are
you already in peru or um is that a dream of yours
peru just seems awesome i really want to go to peru um yes tiana i know yours it's korea
awesome all right then we have janice i'd like to teach english online
in japan and spain cool okay so you want to teach online but live in japan and in spain that's
awesome sounds like a plan then we have margaret yes i remember
margaret hi thanks for joining again so margaret wants to teach online or in
hungary okay great
[Music] okay jenna's she's already you're already teaching english in japan online
okay very cool nice over on instagram let me see what they
say online okay somebody wants to teaching
online then we have somebody who wants to teach in the united arab emirates very cool nice
okay and then a question over on instagram says i finished my course and
i need help to find online jobs and i don't know how okay well contact us via email because you do
qualify for the lifetime job support and we currently have a lot of online teaching
job offers from our partners so drop us an email contact us and then we'll get you
started okay all right tiana says
because i love nature and south korea has a lot of it yeah it's true and south korea is known as one of the safest
countries yes yeah i can see that
good irma i want to try teaching online for now so i can gain experience
yeah that's actually what a lot of people do so they start out teaching english online
right and then to gain experience and to figure out their own teaching style and
all those things and then they move on to teaching in class so that's a really good idea
lilia also wants to teach english online cool yeah i think a lot of people are
switching over to teaching english online especially nowadays so
yeah cool okay great and then juliana also wants to
teach english in south korea oh specifically in daegu yeah i think i asked you before why daegu
why and japan in osaka in tokyo okay
in france you want to teach in bordeaux in paris and online cool you're very specific you know what
you want i like that that's awesome cool okay very very cool
all right so a lot of people want to teach english online that's interesting very cool
does anybody is anybody already teaching online i know somebody's teaching already online in japan
so are you here janice are you working what platform are you working for when
you're teaching online or is it like one school or a platform
that'd be really interesting for others
cool yeah all right so we have a good mix of
countries here where people want to teach english abroad that's awesome and uh also a lot of people want to
teach english online very very good interesting
okay cool okay before we go any further um
let me just show you guys real quick our 30 off link
and i'm going to make myself smaller for now over here um so and i'm also gonna share
this discount link in the comments and over on instagram you can
later head over to ig tv and then you'll see the 30 discount link
on ig tv in the newest video this live video that i'm going to upload

the link is going to appear in your comment box or you can scan this little qr

so please go ahead and do that it's a great deal excuse me need some coffee
um all right we have quite a lot of people joining over on instagram this is
really cool first live and already quite a lot of people joined awesome
so for anyone who just tuned in on instagram um this is a live q and a session about
all things tefl tesol teaching english abroad or online getting tefl certified
t-cell certified all of those things so you can ask me questions about it okay
all right margaret has a good question how long does the 30 percent offer last
it lasts for three days actually three days so until monday you have the
whole weekend to think about it and to um apply
basically yeah so you have the whole weekend to
think about it and then apply uh yeah
all right let me check on instagram this is hard i already have two laptops
here and now my phone with instagram it's a lot of work but it's cool
it's cool happy i'm doing this on instagram as well could release the questions a whole lot
okay all right cool
good okay i'm gonna leave the screen up so you can always um pop in and take a picture of the 30
off link and also of the qr code i mean and have access
to the link in the comment box and meanwhile you can keep asking me questions and i know we got an uh answer from
janice about how she's teaching online in japan because i'm interested
i'm always very curious
[Music] um okay so jenna says i'm a private teacher
for japanese students in sendai cool okay i'd like to strengthen my
teaching skills awesome are you already tefl certified
are you already tefl certified
cool um and then let me ask you guys another
question because i'm a very curious person why are you interested in teaching
english so out of all careers that there are
why are you interested in teaching english
why teaching english it also goes for instagram over here why are you interested in teaching
english so for me i think it was because i was
always really interested in learning foreign languages like back in school
and yeah and then we did like a bunch of school trips or language exchange
programs and so that's kind of how my travel bug started
um and then yeah and then after studying like french and spanish i was
like i want something different and then i actually started studying
chinese and went to china and that's how kind of my love for asia started um
so that's what it was for me and then teaching english was just kind of an
easy way to kind of get to asia so that's how it started for me what
about for you guys why are you interested in teaching english
why why why why meanwhile i have a question from tatiana
who says what do i need to start this course i mean what level of english should i have
so you don't have to be a native english speaker to start our teflor tesol
courses but you need to be fluent english speaker so just be on a fluent level we don't
require you to provide any english proficiency certification or
anything like that so as long as you i mean you need to just think about that for yourself
basically are you fluent enough to be able to understand the course content
um you know the grammar lessons things like that but native and fluent english speakers
are eligible to take our teflon tesol courses and sounds like i mean from your
question it sounds like you're definitely fluent so i wouldn't worry too much about that
all right then tiana says oh so the answer to why are you
interested in teaching english tiana says because i have a love for traveling since i was a kid i've always wanted to
learn other languages and everybody says i would be a good teacher because i explained things very well
cool yeah sounds like teaching english abroad uh is really a good career choice for you
then that's awesome all right we have somebody from haiti
hi thanks for joining and i also see that on instagram people
keep joining thanks so much for watching over here um we are live on instagram and on
facebook and youtube at the same time so it's a little bit difficult to navigate all the screens over here
but um keep throwing your questions at me i'm really enjoying this casual q
a session today about teaching english abroad and tefl and t-cell certification
so definitely keep your questions going and i also wanted to let you know that
if at any time you know you have a question um you're curious about something you can always
refer back to our faq page after the live
if there's something that i didn't answer but you forgot to ask or something like that
so you can just head to teflcourse.net
faq and you'll find i don't know how many faq questions it's
a whole bunch and there's a good chance that your question
is answered there so check that out definitely check that out okay
all right then for anyone who is not teaching yet what is holding you back
anyone who's not teaching yet but really wants to teach english abroad so what is it that is holding you back from
going abroad and teaching right now let me know
okay we have a answer to the previous questions why you want to teach english because i really appreciate that and i
extremely like to educate people i love that that's awesome
margaret has a question in your experience are most of the online jobs one-on-one
or a small group of students so um it depends on which platform
you're working for um i would say most platforms are
tend to be one-on-one but there's also some platforms that have group
classes so where you teach maybe students of two three or four at the same time that is
that also exists but i think the most part the majority is one-on-one
but it depends on the platform so the teaching platform and actually my co-worker lisa did a
live about all the different english teaching online english teaching platforms
on tuesday so you should check that out um there's a lot of good stuff there
all right tatiana says what is holding you back covet 19. yes definitely
covet um definitely uh keeps a lot of people from traveling
and from going abroad at the moment sure but i mean um
many countries and schools are still hiring teachers even now and actually uh having a work visa or an
english teacher visa is one of the only ways to get to travel right now
so places like you know china i think is hiring too china south
korea is hiring um japan is hiring and they don't let any foreign tourists in
even but they're hiring and if you get hired you are allowed to enter so that's one
of the ways okay so what is holding you back from
teaching english abroad and tiana says because of financial issues and not having the education
needed okay but i have improved my living situation all right right so a lot of
um schools do require teachers to have a degree
um a four-year degree especially because tiana you want to go to south korea you need at least a two-year
degree there if you have a two-year degree and associates you can apply for the talk program for example
but um yeah it's usually a four-year degree for the epic program and for the private
schools but there's still also countries out there that hire teachers without a degree so that also exists
and we have a whole list of places about uh of places who do hire teachers without a
degree on our faq page there's quite a bunch especially in places like southeast asia and latin
america those are the places where people who don't have a degree can definitely find
a teaching position all right and tiana says thailand is hiring yes thailand is hiring too and i
think vietnam is hiring i mean i think most of them are hiring so
yeah definitely you can get hired at the moment in a lot of places
all right okay we have a question over here on instagram from gabriel okay what do you consider
the best countries for non-native english teachers to teach because for native ones they're welcome
everywhere yeah cool nice question um yeah we actually have a lot of content
about that on our blog and also on our faq page and
i'm not sure if i did a live about it but something similar but yeah there are actually quite a lot of places where
um non-native english teachers are welcome and fine positions um the biggest one being china still
so china is the biggest market for teaching english abroad it's a huge country and they have i mean
english schools popping up like crazy everywhere all over the country
and so a lot of non-native english speakers with a tefl certificate you need to have a tefl
or a tesol for going to china and a degree i believe as well so
if you have a degree if you have a tefl certificate um you can teach in china even if you're
a non-native english teacher and also places like southeast asia thailand vietnam
those are places that also hire non-native english teachers and i also believe turkey is among the
countries and definitely also places in south america but like i said uh to make sure
check out teflcores.net faq and we have that question answered
there in much more detail because things are also changing all the time in terms of requirements
and regulations but yeah those are usually the countries and china is the biggest one
um you know china is a great place for english teachers still so i definitely recommend checking that
out okay um
we have a question here over on facebook from margaret
what is the main difference between tefl and tesol okay great so tefl stands for teaching
english as a foreign language and tesol stands for teaching english to
speakers of other languages so those two acronyms are very very similar
and actually nowadays they do mean the same thing so the training means the same thing so
whether you take a tefl course or a tesol course the training the course that you receive is identical and at itt
um i can show you guys um you can choose whether your certificate should say tefl
or tesol so this is my certificate right here let me make myself bigger here okay
uh and it does say both up here in the name so
tefl and tesol training and then down here it says
the successful completion of the itt 120 hour tefl course
so i chose tefl because um it's a personal preference it's also
true that tefl is mostly used in europe and
places like well in europe and asia and places like that and then
tesol is more frequently used the term in north america and australia but they
are the same thing so i hope that helps
uh okay we have another question over on instagram let me check that out real quick um what are some determining factors in
helping to decide which course to take cool okay i also actually did a live session about
that topic so which tefl course is right for me um basically it always depends on what
your goal is so what do you want to do with your certificate
where do you want to teach do you want to teach long term or short term um those are all things to
think about so generally speaking if you're starting out and you want to teach
abroad for at least a year or two um then
the certificate to get is definitely the 120 hour tefl certificate that's nowadays like the standard the
minimum so that one is highly recommended and then once you've got that
and you're deciding oh you want to maybe branch out you want to branch into teaching children or you want to branch
out into teaching business english then you can build on that by taking the
specialization courses so for example at itt we offer a 50-hour
specialization in teaching english to young learners then we offer specialization in teaching
business english we also offer specialization course in teaching online
so those are things that you can then um build on once you have your 120 hour
the standard certification and then um if you already know sort of what you
want to do uh you could even you know choose a bundle so we have for example the master
package was it which is the 120 hour plus two 50-hour
specializations so that also exists but generally you can get the 120 hour first and then
build upon that depending on um you know what your career goals are with teaching english
abroad okay cool
um but yeah i recommend checking out my life that i did a couple of weeks ago about which tefl course is right for me
you can find it on our youtube channel and on facebook and probably also on ig tv that should
be on there so check that out
yeah tatiana interesting special course for teaching english online yes this is uh we wrote that out last year
beginning of last year i believe so uh it's you if you're already
certified if you already have the 120 hour certification you can take it as
a top as a top-up as a specialization a 50-hour one or if you don't have any tefl yet you
can take a 170 hour tefl course for teaching english online
and that covers everything basically
okay all right then tiana says i've heard
people talk about celta what exactly is that one okay so the celta
uh i forget what the acronym stands for maybe is it from cambridge so maybe the
c stands for cambridge don't quote me on that but it's basically um similar to teflon tesol it's also a
teaching qualification specifically from i believe cambridge
from the cambridge um organization so um they're just different
certifications but they're both teaching certifications but accredited differently and um yeah i
don't know too much about celta uh celta tends to be more expensive than
tefl um so yeah typically a teflon a tesol
are the qualifications that you need to teach english abroad a celta does that too um
but yeah i do not know too much about celta unfortunately sorry about that
okay all right we have a couple of people over here on instagram
so um if you missed it if you're wondering what's going on we are doing a live q and a session
about teflon tesol and teaching english abroad so feel free to throw your questions at
me about anything that you're curious about when it comes to teaching english abroad
or online different countries um tefl chorus tesol chorus all those
things hi somebody said hello teacher hi there
good morning awesome okay then let me ask you guys another
question uh all right do you guys
prefer taking an online or an in-class tefl course
please let me know do you prefer an online or an in-class tefl course
and why why either option let me know so for me i took an online i
took all my tefl courses online actually with itt i started this was my first one
i started in 2015 when i got this um at the time i was already teaching
english in china at that time it was not a requirement yet to be tefl certified to teach in
china but i knew that i just wanted to further develop my skills and also i
knew that i wanted to teach english in korea afterwards and i thought you know i should get tefl
certified just to um be able to sort of pick and choose the best job
offers and so i decided to get the 120 hour tefl course
um and then later on i also got
uh which one did i get first let's see oh this one okay so after that because
actually in china i was teaching mostly children so i got the 50-hour specialization
in teaching young learners i got that one and i also got
so this was a few months later i got the um certificate in teaching
business english as well so and then last year i
also got our 50-hour teaching english online course
uh certificate i did the course and that also looks like this so they all look the certificates they
all look like this um it's a really really nice um hard copy embossed certificate um you
can see like it has uh this itttt
stamp here it's a really really nice paper like it's really good quality
and every certificate has a unique number right down here
that you can use to verify your certificate on the itt website because there are
actually quite a few people who fake tefl certificates so they photoshop their certificates and um so
itttt offers the service for free to put their to put this unique number
on their certificates for employers to be able to verify that this is a real
and legit tefl certificate so yeah just a side note
let me look over here okay all good so yeah back to the question do you
prefer an online or an in-class tefl course
okay tiana says i prefer online because i can go at my own pace and less distractions i found that i do
better online yeah i think that's why i also chose the course and because i was in china at the time
so i couldn't really attend an in-class center i was working so i really needed
that flexibility awesome
and tiana says i'm also interested in teaching business english as well yeah so business english is also really
great obviously different than teaching children business english you are teaching adults
uh which is um sort of a good uh balance i was teaching children and
then i had a couple of business english classes on the side which was really nice sort of you know something different
and with all the kids and business english usually tends to pay a lot more so
that's also really good that's what i also love about that
martika marthika says hi there what chances do i have i'm a non-native english teacher with a
master's degree in tefl and a celta certificate and steve won ielts
that sounds really good i think your chances are really high um of course you need to choose a
country that hires non-native english teachers um
so but it sounds like you have the right qualifications to have a
successful teaching career so um choose a country where it's not a requirement to be a native english
teacher maybe china i know i said china a lot but i i taught in china china is the biggest
teaching market so it just comes up a lot um and there's a lot of
spanish speakers in china a lot of people from spain they go to china i had a lot of spanish friends there
so um but i don't know where you're from but just from the name it sounds spanish um but even other countries
so uh yeah definitely i would say your chances are really high to sounds like from your qualifications
hello there on instagram a couple of new people joining welcome we are talking about uh
teaching english abroad online teflon teasel certification so if you
have any questions about that i am linda from itt a tefl and tesol
expert living in south korea and i've been in the field for
six years now so if you have any questions about that throw that at me and i'm answering your
questions we have instagram here and then we have facebook and youtube right here so
that's what's happening all right then tatiana sorry i need a
sip of coffee alright tatiana says
excuse me what about payment lessons for early learners and businesses should be
different costs should it not yes so um what i did was
business because i'm in korea so mostly you're going to be teaching children if you're in korea in my case so i was
teaching children basically full time my first year in korea and
at that job if you're working full-time you get you get a monthly salary if you're doing business english um
especially in korea it's usually paid by the hour and you receive you know the hourly rate
so that is usually higher than the hourly rate from your full-time job
but um there's also jobs where you are full-time teaching business english um not so much
here but it's a lot in places like mexico where business english is very big so it
always depends um usually full-time jobs are paid a
monthly salary and then if you do part-time jobs and sort of short-term gigs
teaching gigs they are paid by the hour so
oh i ignored your question i'm sorry about that what rock roxa raw shot i'm not sure
eyes how to say your name sorry could you say your question again i didn't see it it was not on purpose
i'm sorry oh here i found it i found it okay here we go do non-native english speakers get the
certificate yes so any uh native english speaker and fluent english
speaker can take our teflon tesol certification and can get certified
so you just need to be fluent you need to be able to you know read the units understand the questions and then you're
all good so yes you are able to get the certificate sorry for ignoring the question was not
on purpose trying my best here all right
uh then juliana says i prefer an online tefl course because
it is flexible to me yes i think most people really like the online course because of its flexibility
um so that was also the case for me so yeah flexibility is definitely one of
the main reasons hi we have min min from myanmar hi
thanks for joining very very nice then
heck matula i hope i'm saying that right hagmatullah says he also likes and prefers
online english so online tefl course great and then rashad
says i'm fluent as a rocket thanks though yeah so then you definitely you know qualify and you can take the course
yes you're doing great it's just another edit thing today with instagram so
another i have like three screens a mic in front of me it's just me you know navigating through
all the comments so um yeah bear with me be patient i'm trying my best
um we have a few questions over on instagram someone asked is asking are you teaching
in south korea presently so i am i live in south korea
i've been here for five and a half years um i'm not currently teaching i work
full-time for itt i used to teach a few um side projects
but then uh after kobe hit that kind of was put on hold um so i'm not currently teaching at the
moment but um i hope to you know start resuming my project again after
you know soonish i hope it's just so unpredictable right but yeah that's what's happening
and then sarah is asking on instagram can i have a chance to teach english abroad as a non-speaker
okay we're getting this question quite a lot today yes so even if you're a non-native english
speaker you are tefl certified you're tesol certified if not you know get your qualification
and you are ready you can go abroad to teach you might have to um you know look
at different destinations where they allow non-native english teachers but there's still quite a lot of places
so um i recommend checking out our blog section on teflcourse.net slash blog as well as
teflcourse.net faq and you'll find a whole list of places where you can teach as a
non-native english speaker and also a whole list of places
for you to teach if you don't have a degree yeah so check that out there's a lot of
places yep all right
and then rashad i hope i'm saying it right is asking how do i sign up for this
course okay uh let me make myself smaller again so you can either you can take advantage of
the 30 off link you can either scan this qr code right here or
i pasted the discount link into the comment box i'm going to do that again now
yep so you should see it on facebook and on youtube the discount link you can click on that
and then you can sign up you can fill out the application totally free of charge no pressure there um
you fill out the application and then you can complete your payment um later on and you can get a 30
discount so that's a great deal valid for three days so until monday so be sure to take
advantage of that all right we have another question from
hekmatila saying especially what time you get online okay so my the live sessions today well i
usually do it every friday at 10 am korea time that's when i go live
and my colleague lisa she goes live every tuesday in the afternoon and she's in russia
so but we always post about our live events um on our facebook page on youtube and
on instagram so you never miss it um so that's why i always recommend um
liking and subscribing so you don't miss any of the live events you get notifications
whenever we go live all right then let's do one more
one more question i have for you guys and basically this is going to help us out so what
other topics would you like us to talk about in these live sessions in the future which other topics are you
interested in what are you curious about and then we can prepare um our live sessions
and help you guys out let me know and this was really fun
today especially on instagram it was our first live session ever on instagram so that was really cool
thanks so much for all of you guys questions and as always thanks so much
for you guys questions over here on facebook and youtube it's always such a fun crowd
and so much fun our tefl family is growing every week i love it i love seeing
familiar faces and names and um yeah it's always so much fun
we started doing these lives in october i believe so um yeah and it's just so
much fun every week tatiana has one more question how much do they pay per hour
well it always depends you know what kind of school what country um so you would need to be a little bit
more specific or check out our faq page we have
questions or we have it divided up into countries so you can check how much can i earn
teaching english in and there will be a bunch of countries listed and you can check it out and see exactly
how much you can make because the salaries they just vary you know from country to country school to
school so go to i'm just gonna drop the link tesla course
dot net slash faq and then you'll find a whole list of
payment you know salary information per country
okay
christina asks what does the online course provide in terms of practical teacher demonstrations
example classes how to actually run a class that sort of thing aside from theory and
grammar okay great question so if you sign up for the course
with um videos then there will be a lot of videos covering just that so a lot of
different classroom examples of real english classes good examples bad examples uh
videos about experienced teachers talking about how to run a class classroom management
things teaching theories all those kinds of things so if you're looking for that then i
recommend signing up for the course with videos because we always have two
options one with with videos and one without so highly recommend the videos for you
in that case
all right and then one more question from tiana i've done a lot of research on south korea but i would like to know
more about the different cities that we can teach in because in south korea we don't get to pick the city we teach in from my
research yes if you're applying for um the epic program you don't need to you don't get to um choose the city
um but if you're doing if you're applying like personally your own uh i can't talk
right now if you apply like by on your own
without the epic program without a re well or with a recruiter um just without the epic program then
you can choose where you want to teach so you can apply for jobs in cities you want to be in or you can contact recruiters and tell
them hey i want to be in this city so that's possible it's just the epic program doesn't allow you to pick
a certain place
okay and rashad asks rashad asks how long does it take to get the certificate
um so it depends on which certificate the standard 120 hour certificate
the course you can take it up to six months so you have up to six months time to complete the course uh but most
people finish it much much faster so typically like two or three months you can finish
it depends on you know what kind of learner you are depends on how much time you have to
study are you working are you not working you know how much time do you have all those things
but typically you can complete the course in like two to three months
all right hi there over there on instagram
okay um all right one more question over here and then i think i'm gonna sign
off for today from heck matula how do you suggest us to learn english
quickly okay um how to learn english quickly so i
think a great way to learn english quickly is just is you know absorbing the language as much
as you can so watching videos um watching yeah videos
tv shows movies in english reading a lot of books in english
listening to podcasts things like that that's what i would recommend
okay all right guys i think i'm gonna sign off now we've been live for an hour we usually do our live
sessions for an hour um and i hope i was able to answer most of you guys questions
and if i did not please go ahead go to teflcourse.net faq
and you'll find a whole list of questions and answers right there waiting for you um
yeah and we are gonna go live again next week i'm always here at the same
time um yeah thanks so much for all the people who are here week after
week after week i see a lot of familiar names and faces and it's so nice it
means a lot um i know some of the things are repetitive especially if you're watching you know
every week um some similar things are gonna come up every time but
um i really hope that this was helpful i feel like i was just rambling today so um if you're watching this for
the first time usually the lives would have a topic and then i prepare a sort of
presentation about that topic so it'd be a little bit more structured
but today i was just gonna do or i just wanted to do a casual q a live session answering you guys
questions um and we do that every once in a while
but we also have sort of more structured things if that makes sense
okay uh christina says brilliant life you do a great job thank you uh
thanks so much christina that really means a lot to me sometimes you know just depends on the day i feel like
i don't know i'm just rambling i'm not i don't know but i appreciate that a lot
all right and then we have something from khalid you please devote
some time talking about how does coaching and paid training for international language proficiency test jeopardize international language
certificates validity okay i'm gonna note that down i'm gonna talk about the next time
thanks for the comments cool all right juliana thank you and have a
nice day rashad says yeah i know this character
i love i love chinese i really want to go back to china soon i hope uh we can all travel again but yeah you're
welcome thank you thanks
oh i just came did i miss something yeah the life is over now we're at the end i'm so sorry but you can watch the
replay and you can also join us again next week we're always live
at the same time every week so please join us again and also here from instagram or on
instagram thank you so much for being a part of it um join us again it was really fun
and i hope to see you all again next week thanks so much and have a wonderful
weekend have a wonderful day uh yeah see you all very soon okay
and look out for the 30 off link in the comment box or scan the qr code
and on instagram check out ig tv a little bit later on and you can see the code there
so yep signing off now thanks so much guys have a good one
bye bye
