SET Việt Nam are looking for five full-time native level English teachers to teach in some provinces of the North of Vietnam, such as Quang Ninh, Hanoi and Thanh Hoa.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Teaching hours: 20 - 22 hours/week

- Have assistant as request

- Lessons follow school schedule

- Salary: competitive depending on position and experience

- Student aged: 5 - 18 years old.

- One year Contract

- Free accommodation, with free wifi (except Hanoi).

- Work permit support

REQUIREMENTS:

- Have degree (BSc/BA)

- Have certificate of teaching (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)

- Teacher comes from UK, USA, Australia, NZ, Canada, Ireland, South Africa

- Be responsible, honest, loving children, passionate, careful

This lesson, which resembled a lot a previous lesson, reinforced my understanding of the ESA framework. It also helped me understand what kind of activity is appropriate to which part of the ESA. Finally, it helped me create a structure for future lessons that I will teach during my career. It also gave me a good overview of what should be and what should not be taught to students of English as a second language.in this unit we learnt about method and techniques and where they originated from. we also learnt about theories that helps in the teaching and learning of English.some of the theories namely:The silent way which was propounded by Caleb Gattegno 1970, in this method cuisenaire rods are used to teach.i.e.the length determines how long the sound should be pronounced... we also learnt some games suitable the method.
