Ideally you will possess a TESOL/TEFL certificate and have a background in teaching groups of multi-lingual adults. Experience of preparing students for employment and or nationally recognised examinations together with strong computer skills would be an advantage.

The successful candidate for positions working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to a Disclosure check through the confidential process administered by the Criminal Records Bureau. A conviction may not exclude candidates, but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

If you would like to be considered for a career with TBG Learning, we are always keen to hear from positive thinking and committed people.

To apply, contact the e-mail address given on the jobs heading page.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Lesson planning in my opinion is crucial to every teacher as it provides a record of what you are teaching, what materials and techniques were used and also gives you structure as to what you as the teacher is doing especially when you have several classes to teach. This unit was very helpful and I like the lesson planning template as it is different to the way I am accustomed to and is loaded with fresh ideas.I learned from this lesson that it is important to use teaching methodology when giving a lesson. The ESA method is one example and can have many variants depending on the goal of the instructor and the needs of the class. It is important not to over correct a student because this can be detrimental the learning process. Students also need structure in there lessons and there are many ways in providing such.
