Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this section, I have learned the difference between certain types of tests, and what purpose they are meant to fulfill. It is important to give the students tests throughout the course to not only see their progress and understanding of the material, but to also adjust the lesson plans in a way that ensures that the students will fully understand the content before moving forward in the course.This unit was helpful in starting to think about what materials I might need to teach and what materials I should use. I also think it is important to discuss the use of a course book because often times I think they are necessary to carry on flow in the classroom, but I hate the idea of developing a dependency on them. I am happy this course discussed that and suggested ways to avoid dependency.
