ELC Chester is located close to the centre of the beautiful, historic city of Chester, in the north west of England.
We are now looking for full-time teaching staff (including summer teaching staff) to start work on either our General English for Adults and/or Summer Course for Teenagers. Ideally we would like to recruit teachers with some experience, but newly qualified teachers will be considered for some positions. Well qualified and experienced teachers may also be considered for further fixed term contract teaching work in the school.
You will be part of a professional, experienced teaching team, delivering English teaching to either adult or junior students, with related administration, preparation and marking work. You will also participate in the school's social programme. Ideally you should have a base close to Chester as access to accommodation may be very limited.
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent required
Higher level qualifications such as DELTA or Master's degree in TESOL are welcome.
TEFL/TESOL preferred
Salary and Benefits
Our hourly rate ranges from £23.00 (for newly qualified teachers) to £27.60 (for two-years post-DELTA teachers). You will also be able to claim additional pay for accompanying social programme activities and visits.
