Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was helpful in understanding various methods and techniques for teaching vocabulary and language structures. I especially appreciated the explanations offered for what aspects of language are particularly important to know. The suggested methods for each phase of the lesson were also quite helpful in demonstrating how each phase (ESA) strengthens a different aspect of the lesson for the language learner.Support materials help engage students by providing interesting and varied ways for them to experience language in realistic contexts. So, use of objects to teach vocabulary, books, videos, games, computers, video camera (phone) enhances the learning process. There are many online sources of content for TEFL. The main thing to recall when using these materials is to use them with a purpose and not just to fill time.
