Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I am very grateful for having been exposed to the Engage - Study - Activate structure of teaching. Even if I have been following a similar pattern instinctively after trial and error, it is pertinent to see it presented in such a goal-oriented approach. I also appreciate setting targets for the student and the teacher for each lesson. This unit was more instructive for me than those pertaining grammar and verb tenses. In this Unit the use, advantages and disadvantages of different teaching material was explained. Tips on the best ways to use coursebooks, visual and audio aids and white board were articulated in the unit. General rules for choosing the most suitable coursebook were also outlined in the unit. The differences between authentic and created material were pointed out with many illustrative examples for created materials.
