Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Good teachers say 'It’s Not Only What You Teach — It’s How You Teach'. Two most commonly followed methods taught by TEFL Certification schools are “Presentation, Practice, Production” (PPP) and “Engage, Study, Activate” (ESA). Each teacher tries to find benefits in both methods and applies them on his students. These methods are used primarily for teaching speaking skills.Although I know these rules inherently from being a native speaker, I find it very useful to have the rules laid out in this manner. I did not know some of the terminology in this unit. I learned quite a bit about phrasal verbs and modal auxiliary verbs. I hear type 2 and type 3 phrasal verbs used incorrectly in general conversation a lot, especially here in Texas. It will be fun for me to teach my friends.
