Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 3 focuses on the methodologies, mistakes and feedback. From this unit I have learned that there are many different kinds of strategies, methods and games that the teacher can use in the classroom.I learned that correcting mistakes is a very crucial stage of a learning process. The teacher should know in what way to give feedback to a student. Moreover, the teacher should understand which stage is most suitable for making corrections.Unit 9 discussed the significance of lesson planning. Lesson planning is important as it enables the teacher to realize what they want from their students to have accomplished by the end of the lesson, and how to accomplish this. Furthermore, it acts a record. The educator can backpedal and review what he or she has taught weeks or even months ago. It is also beneficial for when the teacher is sick and a substitute must cover the class.
