Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, productive skills, or output, was discussed. The unit provided an overview of the two kinds of output, speaking and writing, in that order. First, speaking was discussed. Reasons were cited as to why oral communication takes place; essentially, to negotiate meaning. The more interested students are, the more likely to they will exert effort. Writing requires a different skill set for both teacher and student.Assessment and testing are important aspects in teaching English. Its a two way process not only for the students to test their learning ability but also for the teachers to test if the way they teach is understandable or or your student can understand the lesson. It also helps the teachers to improve the way they teach the lessons. It also helps the teacher to focus on the weakness of their student and help them to improve it.
