Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Based on this unit, I learnt the usages and rules for the Past tenses and a more in-depth understanding of what is past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. The Past Continuous tense is used without a time expression and it can indicate a gradual development that took place in the past. Hence, an example for Past Continuous Tense is I was baking at 8 pm last night. The techniques given with regards to grouping of students gave such insight on how to get the best out of your students. Full participation in creating a sound activity using the space. Also the different types of participation you can give by basically changing the structure between orderly rows to more intimate circles etc. It connects the activity to space, increasing student interaction.
