Gloria English School is currently seeking TEFL teachers to teach English as a second language to children and youth of all age levels (4-18 year olds) as well as adults.

What Gloria Offers:
1. NT$640 per hour (starting rate with attendance bonus) ¡V approx. $20.00 US or $19.50 CAD OR NT$ 600 (starting rate without attendance bonus) - approx. $18.50 US or $18.00 CAD

(1) University degree OR 2-year college diploma and TESOL/TEFL certificate

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit provides an overview of what possible problems an ESL teacher would have. It provides ideas on how to handle new groups and existing groups. This unit also provides different activities to use to establish rapport with the students which are important to have a good teacher-student relationship. The lesson also provides warmers which is an important factor especially if we use the ESA methodology.The antepenultimate unit of the course discussed about grammar again, in this case, modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. The lesson presented the auxiliary verbs and their uses, including teaching ideas. It was explained defining relative clauses and non-defining relative clauses. The subjects taught in this unit were not simple, therefore, the teacher must study beyond of what was presented in the lesson.
