Dongshih is a small beautiful town surrounded by mountains. Buses go to Taichung and Fengyuan city every 20 minutes. Most people here are farmers. They grow pears, oranges and grapes.... They are very friendly to foreigners.

There are also several 24 hours shops and Mac. Donald. There is a big supermarket near accomodation. The life here is very convienient and quiet with fresh air. The living cost is much lower than that in the city. A beautiful bicycle trail from Dongshih to Fengyuan was highly recommended by famous TV discovery channel. People enjoy bike riding, hiking and birds watching here. Dongshih town is considered as a safe community by WHO world organization.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit talked about the teaching materials. I have learned quite a lot of teaching materials that are available. We have the dictionaries, resource materials, CD,DVD, Cassette, Visuals etc. Of all these sources the DVD and the Visuals caught my attention the most because while they are being used , they stimulate and captivate students' attention while learning useful vocabularies and grammatical structures. This was a very informative module regarding the different present tenses we use in English. Sometimes, because it feels natural to native English speakers, we forget that there are simple and continuous usages that need to be noted. I learned the most from the \"common mistakes\" examples that were provided, as they gave me a realistic expectation of what a student might struggle with when dealing with tenses.
