Starlight International Academy, an ESL language center for young students in West Dist. near The Fine Arts Museum, Taichung City, Taiwan has full time and part time opportunities for TEFL qualified teachers who are available to start work in February 2016.
FULL TIME POSITION INFORMATION:
- Salary from TWD$65,000 monthly pay upwards, depending on qualifications/teaching experience
- Minimum one year contract
- Working hours, Mon-Fri, half Saturday on shift with extra hour pay TWD$650 upwards if classes scheduled
- 9 hours per weekday, including 1 hour meal break
- Student age: mainly kindergarten-elementary school
- May be deployed to public or private school for collaborative teaching programs
-ARC/healthcare insurance/work permit provided
PART TIME POSITION INFORMATION:
- TWD$650 hourly pay upwards, depending on qualifications/teaching experience
- A minimum one-year contract
- Teaching 6-12 hours on Mon- Fri, 3 hours on Saturday morning if classes scheduled
- Student age: mainly kindergarten-elementary school
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to commence work in February 2016
- Native level speaker of English from the following countries: US, Canada, South Africa, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong
- Bachelor degree or above or with proven extensive teaching experience over 3 years
-TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or other teaching related certificate (Preferred)
- Registered teachers with a valid teacher's license (Preferred)
- MUST be vivacious in personality
- With competence to create classroom/team learning activities and camp programs independently
- Able to conduct a Skype interview demonstrating a short teaching with a capsule given
