Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit deals with a variety of materials that teachers can use to help their students progress in the classroom. It explains the differences between authentic and created materials, both materials are needed and useful depending on the need of students. This unit also explains how to use course books effectively which was helpful because course books can be boring and examples outdated. This unit covers the actual teaching of vocabulary of the English language. It referenced back to the different Styles of ESA teaching including the straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork lesson plans. It also goes into detail on just how much is needed to correctly teach the vocabulary from the initial selection of the vocabulary to how best to teach it, to best how to use it in practice.
