Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Similarly to the previous unit, this unit helped me think more about what it means for a student to learn how to use a language, rather than just learning vocabulary and language structures. In my experience, student soften learn to read and write English decently before they comfortable speaking, so I'm interested in learning how to integrate the two sides of language usage more in my lessons. This unit deals with evaluation and testing. There are different way to assess a student's Language level, such as tutorials or tests. It is really important to give tests at different stages in a course to understand the work covered by the students. At the beginning of a course, placement tests are given to students to enable Teachers to organize new classes according to the Language ability.
