Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit talked about the importance of lesson planning and gave some examples for us to learn from. The most important thing about lesson planning is knowing how do it appropriately according to your level of teaching experience and context. A less detailed class room agenda is better and less rigid. Some simple points to follow that track the logical flow of your classroom time is the most helpful. This grammar focused unit took more time than others for me to fully feel comfortable with all the content presented. The 5 different conditionals were not too difficult to grasp but the reported speech and direct speech with the changes in tenses, pronouns and expressing time was quite challenging. I liked the inclusion of teaching ideas to help plan lessons when focusing on this aspect of grammar.
