Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This was a very interesting unit. I have learned a lot from this unit. This unit was about pronunciation and phonology. I learned about phonology and its definition. I also learned about stress and intonation. I also learned about things like linking, sound joining, sound changing and extra lettering. The phonemic symbols are interesting but I found them a bit difficult to understand. Overall this was a very informative unit. This unit has been very useful in providing different ideas, teaching strategies and resources for the different age groups, which can be implemented in the classroom. It considers different chants, music, games, stories, arts and crafts, and drama which can be utilised in our lessons to make them more appealing and appropriate to the different age groups. It also gives a variety of options for lesson plans that we could use.
