In order for students to learn new language they need to be exposed to it, understand its meaning, how the language is constructed and be able to produce and practice the new language. ESA methodology can easily be used to introduce new language. Grammar and vocabulary lessons often use straight arrow lessons while boomerang or patchwork lessons can be more useful for language function based lessons.two productive skills are speaking and writing. during a typical esa lesson, accuracy during the engage stage and fluency during the study stage. to create activities for student interaction. speaking and listening. reading and listening. accuracy during the activate stage and fluency during the study stage. give simple and clear instructions is not a general guideline for creative speaking activity.
