I believe that coursebooks can be a very good guide for teachers who are just beginning. Coursebooks provide a stable syllabus and also contain many activities that are proven and true. I believe that the coursebook that a teacher chooses should have relevancy to the level of their students. Many things should be considered before choosing a proper textbook for example price and the date it was published. Books must be up to date.Another good chapter on some of the necessary skills required for a student to absorb a language. The listening and reading skills are incredibly vital for understanding and choosing an interesting topic that gets the students engaged is vital for successful study periods. There are many different ways to elicit good study behavior such as choosing fun and interesting topics, and this is required to retain the class participation.
